REVIEW: 2011 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, Estate Bottled
A juicy well made chardonnay with just enough oak maturation to add complexity and structure without adding too much unnecessary flavour. Expect aromas of apple and pineapple fruit with lemon, salt and butter tones plus subtle oak spice. It is midweight and finely balanced with very good to excellent length. Great value. Best 2014 to 2016. Try with sauteed veal in a lemon butter sauce.
